ClearSite ("we," "us," or "our") is operated by My Media Matters. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use the ClearSite platform at getclearsite.com, including the admin dashboard, client portal, and marketing website.
Account Information
When you create an account or are invited to a portal, we collect your name, email address, and organization name. Authentication is handled by Clerk, our third-party identity provider. We do not store passwords directly.
Usage Data
We automatically collect information about how you interact with ClearSite, including pages visited, features used, browser type, device information, and IP address. This data helps us improve the platform.
Connected Services Data
If your organization connects Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or Google Business Profile to ClearSite, we retrieve analytics and performance data from those services using OAuth 2.0 authorization. We store this data to display it in your portal dashboards. We do not modify or write to your Google accounts.
Content You Provide
If you use ClearSite's CMS, helpdesk, or messaging features, we store the content you create — including text, images, files, and support tickets.

ClearSite uses cookies for authentication (session tokens), user preferences (portal demo type, impersonation state), and basic analytics. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure using Cloudflare D1 (database) and R2 (file storage). All data is encrypted in transit via HTTPS/TLS. We follow industry-standard security practices including role-based access controls, secure API authentication, and regular security reviews.
We retain your account data for as long as your organization has an active ClearSite subscription. Analytics data (pulled from Google APIs) is refreshed regularly and historical snapshots may be retained for reporting purposes. If you cancel your subscription, we will delete your data within 90 days unless required by law to retain it.

ClearSite is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
